Lisa is thrilled to be a part of the US*99.5 family!
A New Jersey native, Lisa comes to us after spending 14 years in radio in South Bend, Indiana, the last 10 at WBYT, the area’s #1 country station. For 3 years she had a top-rated midday show, but for the last 7 years she was the morning show host that friends called “The Queen Bee�.
Lisa earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications at Saint Mary’s College in South Bend. She loves her alma mater and has been very active in their alumnae association. In her spare time, she loves to cook and is famous for her appetizers and baked ziti! A self-described Food Network groupie, she’s a big fan of Rachel Ray’s 30 Minute Meals (Love that girl!) She also enjoys spending time with friends and family, shopping, and spending her spare cash at the salon. “What can I say?� Lisa explains, “Happiness is getting a manicure with your new People and O magazines in your other hand�. She has also spent countless hours working on fundraising for charities, including the March of Dimes, the American Heart Association, The Komen Foundation and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
Lisa lives downtown and loves the excitement of the Windy City. She shares her life and love with her husband of nearly 8 years, David, a Loyola grad and a lifelong Cubs fan. In fact, the two became engaged in Chicago back in 1996. “We have always loved this city and dreamed of really being a part of it someday.�
